The process required multiple validations, including IC/passport verification and CTOS checks, with each application taking an average of 9 minutes to process.
Due to this, 9 full-time employees (FTEs) were dedicated to the task to meet strict SLA (Service Level Agreement) requirements, making it both labor-intensive and time-consuming.
How we Solve it?
To streamline operations, IDstar implemented an unattended robot, triggered by a scheduled event, that automatically retrieves and validates all unassigned orders from the core system via API.
Additionally, EZxtract was integrated as an OCR tool to extract crucial data from ICs, passports, and CTOS reports.
This allows the robot to efficiently process applications while minimizing human intervention, significantly reducing workload and accelerating validation times.
